This World Bank funded project included the construction of nine retaining walls as well as drains and culverts at River Road and Constantine areas in St. George’s to prevent landslip along approximately 260 meters of roadways.  An objective of the project was to measurably reduce vulnerability to natural hazards and climate change impacts in Grenada.  Additionally there was clearing of vegetation at the rock face, removal of unstable sections and general shaping of the rock face.  The asphaltic pavement was reinstated and guardrails installed.
